01 · The need
A focused home for hospitality discovery.
The main USBG website already carried a broad organizational job: membership, education, events, industry resources and national community news. The Guildhouse program needed something more focused—a public directory where people could find bars, restaurants and hotels that actively support the organization.
The goal was to make that discovery experience clear and useful without losing its connection to the larger USBG brand.
02 · The relationship
One organization.
Two focused experiences.
The organization
Membership, education, events, resources and the national USBG community.
The discovery tool
A dedicated way to search for Guildhouse venues and learn where to visit.
03 · The experience
Designed around one clear task: find a Guildhouse.
The directory gives the program its own digital front door. Visitors can search by name, keyword or location, then move into venue profiles with the details they need to connect.
The visual language complements the established USBG presence, while the page structure stays centered on search and discovery rather than asking visitors to navigate the larger organization first.

04 · The result
A useful tool with a clear place in the brand.
Easy to understand
The purpose is clear as soon as a visitor arrives: discover hospitality businesses that support USBG.
Easy to search
Name, keyword and location-based discovery help visitors find relevant venues at home or while traveling.
Clearly connected
The directory feels like part of USBG while remaining focused enough to do its own job well.
